Log Cabin Quilt

This is my latest quilt made for a friend.  When I finished it, I really wanted to keep it because it turned out so nicely.  But she traded me lots of 3l Gift Bags for it, so I let it go.  I used a pattern out of Judy Martin's Log Cabin pattern book.

Winter, Valentines, and Family Message Board

Yes, I know these are sideways, but being a bit "technologically challenged" I can't figure out how to turn them.  So just enjoy as they are and turn you head sideways.

Feeling the creative juices flowing this morning.  Started with an embroidery hoop and rummaging through my craft drawers came up with a doily I crocheted, a cameo I found in a 2nd hand shop, some felt flowers I'd cut for another project and the rose.  Added 2 layers of lace around the edge.

Pallet bench

Another pallet project completed!  Child's bench turned into plant holder.  I may take the plants off when the grandchildren come over.

Pallet table

My husband spent forever taking 2 pallets apart in order to build this table.  He even used the original nails so they would have the rustic look.  I may try to age the side boards and legs to better match the table top.

Happy Campers

For this sign I used a 9x12 canvas I got at Craft Warehouse. I painted the background with light green watercolor, cut out the letters and the pine tree on my Cricut. I created the campfire by cutting out a bunch of brown logs out of vinyl, then the flames in orange and yellow and added some wispy black smoke--all vinyl.

Holiday Bazaar

I decided to host a holiday bazaar in my living room to try to earn some Christmas money. Lots of bags were there (no, not what you're thinking).
Quilts, wallhangings, little girls aprons.
More quilts, thank you Santa plate, 2 pillow case dresses.
Yo yo wreath, handled tin with scrapbook paper, etc. etc. (I can't bring myself to describe each thing.)
Knick knack shelves, doll bed.
Dry erase boards or wall hangings...take your pick.
More dry erase boards. Wish I could say I made the warm winter welcome sign.
Frames, etc.
This was a sample of the several signs we put up.
A thrift store nightstand shabby chiced.
Close up of the bags.
Supposed to put a picture behind the plastic, but put scrapbook paper and used as a dry erase board.
Thrift store dolls cleaned up and put in new clothes.
