I decided to host a holiday bazaar in my living room to try to earn some Christmas money. Lots of bags were there (no, not what you're thinking).
Quilts, wallhangings, little girls aprons.
More quilts, thank you Santa plate, 2 pillow case dresses.
Yo yo wreath, handled tin with scrapbook paper, etc. etc. (I can't bring myself to describe each thing.)
Knick knack shelves, doll bed.
Dry erase boards or wall hangings...take your pick.
More dry erase boards. Wish I could say I made the warm winter welcome sign.
Frames, etc.
This was a sample of the several signs we put up.
A thrift store nightstand shabby chiced.
Close up of the bags.
Supposed to put a picture behind the plastic, but put scrapbook paper and used as a dry erase board.
Thrift store dolls cleaned up and put in new clothes.
This blog chronicles not only quilts I have made but anything else that strikes my fancy.

Play kitchen redo
A thrift store end table redone into a play kitchen. Took off the front cupboard doors and added the ruffle piece. Went to the ReStore and got the burners, knobs, and faucet. The sink is just a plastic tupperware bowl. Added the board to the back and thanked my husband for cutting out the window. Put a scenic picture behind it and added the valence. As I look at it now, though, I am going to redo it in one of the fabrics in the ruffle. A coat of yellow paint finished it off.

Ruffled purses
Found this pattern on Pinterest. I made the smaller one to practice and made the larger one for my daughter in nursing school. I enlarged the smaller pattern by 1/4 to get the bigger size. The ruffles between the band and gathered portion add an element that makes this a favorite. I changed the handles so you could put this over your shoulder.

Random Crafts
Foam board is the base for this wreath. I hot glued 2 rows of yo yos and topped that layer with a variety of flowers I've made over the past few months. Finished it with a ribbon and lace. I painted a thrift store shelf and embellished it using my Cricut. I wanted the small hearts to look like they had fallen out of the lace up on top. Finally, I covered my most used clipboard with scrapbook paper. I used a hot glue gun to attach the paper and then trimmed it to fit afterwards. It was a little longer than 12 inches, so I had to piece it at the top. Next time I would piece it at the bottom instead.

Shelf for the Motorhome
This was a fun project. I couldn't find any pine bough clip art I liked, so I cut some thin brown vinyl for the stem and then cut out a whole bunch of green parentheses and stuck them on for the needles. Then I found a pine cone I converted to SVG and I'm loving the finished product. Now I have to find the perfect something to go on the shelves. Saw some fabric pine trees I may use, a picture frame of twigs, etc.
