Having fun with my cricut this weekend. Everything on the pumpkins was done with the cricut. The picture frame/dry erase board was 75 cents at a garage sale (price tag on back said $19.95). I think a family picture in place of the flower at the bottom would look great.

Having a 5 favorites party at school motivated me to make these "dry erase boards". Found some frames at the thrift store, made some rosettes and backed them with scrapbook paper or fabric. They were a big hit.

Pressed flowers from camping trips...thrift store find painted spa blue with white flowers and polka dots added.

Baby Shower Decorations

Baby shower for my DIL - teal poufs on the wall, styrofoam ball covered with crepe paper roses with the canopy from the girls' room as the finishing touch.

Random Crafts

Foam board is the base for this wreath. I hot glued 2 rows of yo yos and topped that layer with a variety of flowers I've made over the past few months. Finished it with a ribbon and lace. I painted a thrift store shelf and embellished it using my Cricut. I wanted the small hearts to look like they had fallen out of the lace up on top. Finally, I covered my most used clipboard with scrapbook paper. I used a hot glue gun to attach the paper and then trimmed it to fit afterwards. It was a little longer than 12 inches, so I had to piece it at the top. Next time I would piece it at the bottom instead.

Car Caddy

I originally made this to hold all my sewing gear while traveling, but it has morphed into a carryall. I just open the glove box and close it fast to keep it attached.

A thrift store shelf that used to be black. I decided brown with beige lettering would look better. I'm still working with the arrangement...maybe a shorter candlestick?

Little Girl's kitchen cupboard

This used to have funny little panda bears on the cupboard doors. I think this looks much better. I'm going to be looking for some cute knobs to replace the boring ones.

Miscellaneous projects

Long rides in the car result in lots of little crocheted hearts and a doily. I thought I would use them with my Victorian garage sale finds and make a display. The unit below opens from the top - I wish the fake drawers were real. I modpodged fabric onto 5 of them.
